I had this dream, where I’m standing on cliffs edge. A mirror hovers in front of me but its not the image of my current self.

It’s the image of my ten year old self. We were talking or I was trying to talk but Younger Me won’t stop talking.

I was trying to tell

Younger Me about what

Younger Me would go through during the following years after our Dad’s death. I was trying to encourage Younger Me.

I was trying to give Younger Me some tools for the road ahead.

I was trying to teach the lessons I had to learned the hard way. I was trying but…..

Younger Me wasn’t listening to me.

Younger Me wanted to tell me about

My childhood feeling. My forgotten thoughts. My dead dreams.

Younger Me was trying to instruct me about

Me. Near the dreams end

I know, nothing I had said would reach that Younger Me. We were to many worlds apart from each other. I wish I had took the time to listen.
